This last weekend the Marburg Firies were competing again, this time in the Queensland championships. It was an exciting event for them with two out of the four team members having only been in the auxiliaries for about a year. Balancing this was Brad Dance’s 24 or so years of experience. Their goal was to finish in the top 10 places.
Out of 24 teams competing, Marburg placed 9th overall, which was a fabulous result and testimony to their hard work. They also ranked first in the SE & SW Queensland Region.
Our “boys” posed proudly with Wayne Wendt (State Member for Ipswich West). Left to right are: Glen Looker, Steve Foote, Wayne Wendt, Brad Dance, and Nick Doyle.
